RIL-05 --- This magnificant steamer was built by Arnold Jung Lokomotivfabrik GmbH of Jungenthal, Germany in the year 1957 (maker number # 12797). It was imported by the Rohtas Industries Limited (RIL) for shunting of wagons from its Dalmianagar Factory to Dehri station. With 'Six-Wheel-Switcher' 0-6-0 type wheel configuration, this broad-gauge tank locomotive is around 12-feet tall and 31-feet long, weighs over 47 tons, can carry 5000 litres of water and needs over four tons of coal to feed its voracious appetite. The Rohtas factory shed believed to have a holding of as many as seven BG steam locos of which four are from Jung, one from Kerr Stewart and two from Canadian Locomotive. This loco was one of those Jung fleet of RIL with road number # 05, which was restored by Indian Railways in 2016, after lying as scrap for two decades.
