Tarapith Road

Tarapith Road --- It is one of the most popular destination for Hindu pilgrims due to the shrine called Tarapith which homes Maa Tara, another form of goddess Kali. It lies in BWN-RPH section and is well connected with Howrah. A dedicated train service used to run from Kolkata station as Maa Tara express which terminated at this station-but is now extended to the next station Rampurhat. The station have two plaforms with stoppage of around 23 trains. Station code - TPF.
