Tamluk

Tamluk Junction --- Present day Tamluk is the site of the ancient city variously known as Tamralipta or Tamralipti. The present town is located on the banks of the Rupnarayan River. It is a junction of three lines - Howrah-Digha, Howrah-Haldia & Howrah-Kharagpur route. The station have 3 plaforms with stoppage for 26 trains. This station is one of the favorite railfanning destination for TT. Station code - TMZ.
