Old Delhi Station --- Commemorative postage stamp issued by IndiaPost on the Heritage Railway Stations of India. Railways came to Delhi with the establishment of the imposing Old Delhi Railway Station constructed in 1867. The building has several Gothic features. The two storey building has deep verandas on both floors & though the original building is in good condition, many modifications & additions have since been done. Semi octgonal turrets rise from the corners of the building as depicted on the stamp. Issued on 16th August 2009 with denomination 500p (₹ 5/-).
