Darjeeling --- --- This is the terminal station and was opened on 4th July 1881. The original Darjeeling station was destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 1934. It was later rebuilt around 1944 in an Art Deco style. Although many modifications have been done in recent times, you can still find a hint of the Art Deco design.
