F-716 --- This F class locomotive # 716 was built in 1926 at Nasmyth Wilson & Co, Patricroft, Manchester, UK. This 2-8-2 locomotive was put in service in 2' 6" narrow-gauge section of Barsi Light Railway under BLR-23 road number. After 68 years of successful service this loco was withdrawn in the year 1994 while in full steam. This loco is now plinthed outside DRM office of Pune. Photographed by Somsubhra Das.
