This decade old locomotive is by far the main attraction of the museum. Built in the year 1916 by W. G. Bagnall Castle Engine Works of Stafford, England, this one is a 0-6-4 narrow-gauge tank locomotive weighing 15 tons and having a maximum speed of 25 kmph. This locomotive was extensively used in Bankura-Damodar Valley Narrow-gauge section of SER (erstwhile BNR). This loco was reconditioned for a heritage run in during 150 years celeberation of Indian Railways, and can be seen resplendent in bright black/red livery with polished brass fittings.
