A-48 --- This A class locomotive is a modified version of L class with larger coupled wheels. It was built by the Dubs & Co. of Glasgow, UK in the year 1891. This loco with 'Ten-wheeler' 4-6-0 type wheel arrangement, was used for both freight and passenger traffic on Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway (NSR) of Hyderabad. After decommissioned, this loco was sectioned at the Railway Staff College of Vadodara, for educational purposes. Currently preserved at National Rail Museum, New Delhi.
