Bogie Open Hopper Wagon with Bottom Discharge (NTPC) --- Procured by NTPC for carrying their MGR operations in their power plants. High speed open hopper car with rapid (pneumatic) bottom discharge doors, air-braked. Each wagon holds some 60t of coal loaded from the top and unloaded from the bottom by means of 8 pneumatically operated doors. Each wagon is mounted on 2 Axle Cast Steel Bogie with long travel (Amested Type Ride Control Bogie). Equipped with centre buffer coupler (CBC) & O-14 & I-14, S-4 spring with an axle load of 22.32 T.
