Kolkata Tram - 697 --- A Gariahat based Jessop built tramcar was taking a breather at Esplanade junction before starting off towards Gariahat while serving Route # 25. Framed by Roy on 7th April 2013.

Initially from 1923 there was a line between Esplanade to Park Circus which was later extended to Gariahat. And thus two new routes from Gariahat to Esplanade/BBD Bag Route # 25 (via Elliot Road) & to Howrah Route # 26 (via Sealdah, MG Road) respectively were opened in the year 1930.
