Byomkesh Bakshi Tram --- Two double-bogie wooden tramcars of the year 1931 was specially revamped & redesigned at CTC Nonapukur Workshop in the year 2013, for shooting of the Hindi film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' resembling the then look of pre-independence era, features, painting & advertisements on the exteriors of the Tram. This Gariahat based tramcar # 563 is another of the two. 'Byomkesh Bakshi' is a famous fictional detective of Kolkata created by great bengali novelist Sharadindu Banerjee. Roy spotted this beautiful tramcar, resting inside Gariahat depot, on 2nd October 2019.
