Bidhannagar Road

Bidhannagar Road --- Bidhannagar Road is the first station of Kolkata Suburban Railway on the Sealdah-Ranaghat line after SDAH. It is linked to the Sealdah South lines via Sir Gurudas Banerjee halt. It serves Bidhannagar, Ultadanga and the surrounding areas. Its history dates back to 1862, when Calcutta (Sealdah)-Kusthia line of Eastern Bengal Railway was opened to traffic. The station have 4 platforms with stoppage for almost all EMUs. Station code - BNXR.
