South Eastern Central Railway inaugurated its first Self-propelled Diesel-powered Inspection Carriage at Bilaspur zone. This SPIC has a driving cabin at both ends and doesn't need a separate engine like it was needed earlier that also increased burden of fuel, time and resources. This fully air-conditioned car comes with a seating capacity of 16 persons and is equipped with one emergency room, a small kitchen & a toilet as well.
