Built by Winterthur Loco Co. Switzerland in 1920. With 0-6-0 wheel arrangement this meter-gauge X class locos have the ability to run on rack and pinion track & are India's only 4-cylinder steam locos, the additional cylinders being used for the rack wheel. Some of these Locos are still in operation at Nilgiri Moutain Railways (Ooty). This magnificant giant is preserved at National Rail Museum, New Delhi.
