Built in 1948 by Baldwin Loco Works, Philadelphia, USA. It was a powerful loco built to British Engineering Standard Association (BESA) standards. With a 'Pacific type' 4-6-2 wheel configuration, this meter-gauge loco used to haul passenger trains on the Jodhpur Railway. This was the only locomotive class in India fitted with elongated 12-wheeled tender, thus enabling them of prolonged runs without stopping for coal or water. Presently stationed at National Rail Museum, New Delhi.
