breakdown hand crane (1883)

This was one of the earliest breakdown cranes used on the Bombay, Baroda & Central India Railway (BB&CI). It was imported from Ransome & Rapier Ltd. London in 1883. This six-wheeler broad-gauge 15 ton capacity crane required six persons to operate.
