This meter gauge boggie hopper wagon was built in the year 1913 by Southern Railway workshop. It was used to carry ballast to the work site where it can unload the required quantity of ballast along the track by operating doors provided at the bottom through gear mechanism which are operated manually by railway staffs. It is still fit to work along the MG tracks.
