This narrow-gauge E class locomotive was built by Kerr Stuart & Co. Ltd, England in the year 1922. This locomotive with 4-6-2 wheel configuration, was comissioned in November 1922 by Mysore State Railway. With a mximum speed of 50 kmph it was extensively used for passenger services in the narrow-gauge section between Yelhanka & Bangarpet.
