Popularly known as Namma Metro is a rapid transit system in Bengaluru city which was inaugurated in 2011. Presently the system includes two operational lines - Purple line or east-west corridor (Baiyyapanahalli to Mysore Road) & Green line or north-south corridor (Nagasandra to Anjanapura) with a common cross-over at Majestic/City Railway station.
