ES-506 --- This narrow-gauge E class locomotive was built by Kerr Stuart & Co. Ltd, England in the year 1922. This E class locomotive with 4-6-2 wheel configuration, was comissioned in November 1922 by Mysore State Railway with E class # 8. It was renumbered as # 506 and became a SR loco in the year 1957. With a mximum speed of 50 kmph it was extensively used for passenger services in the narrow-gauge section between Yelhanka & Bangarpet. It had also worked on the Bangalore-Chikballapur Railway.
