BK - 28

BK-28 --- This century-old, 0-6-4 B class locomotive was built in the year 1896 by W. G. Bagnall Castle Engine Works of Stafford, England. With a max speed of 35 kmph & 70 ton hauling capacity this loco use to generate 360 hp & was heavily used in Bardhaman-Katwa section of EIR - thus re-classified as BK-28. Currently plinthed inside the premises of Country Inn Resort at Bhimtal, Uttarakhand. A Somsubhra Das photography. D.O.P. - 2nd October 2017.
