WHD-SAN-KoPT-748 --- These are shunting locomotives with hydrodynamic transmission engineered by VOITH and built by Suri & Nayar (SAN) Engineering & Locomotive Co. Ltd., Bengaluru. These BG locos comes with a Bo-Bo wheel arrangement and are fitted with CUMMINS VTA 28L / CATERPILLAR 3406 diesel engine with 2100 rpm and 700 hp. Fitted with a VOITH designed and SAN built turbo reversing hydrodynamic transmission. Equipped with Pneumatic air brake system, Coil spring suspension and CB couplers. These locos give a starting Tractive Effort of 265 kN and a maximum speed of 20 kmph.
