WDS6-BSP-653 --- These are heavy duty, shunting locomotives are equipped with 6-cylinder Alco engine built by Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi. These are provided with AC-DC transmission consisting of a directly coupled self-ventilated BHEL make traction alternator type TA10106 CY, driving six-axle hung nose suspended BHEL traction motors type TM4907. These 1350 hp locomotives comes with a max speed of 65 kmph and panel mounted IRAB-1 Brake system.
