MG OMS Track Observation Car --- The Metre Gauge track recording car is equipped with a measuring frame similar to the one provided in BG Track recording car. The transmission is electronic and the recording is done on a six channel B.N.L. recorder. The vertical and lateral acceleration are measured by an accelerometer fitted on the floor of the coach. Apart from that this car is fitted with Portable Oscillation Monitoring System (OMS) as well.
