MG DEMU Trailer Coach --- Introduced first in service in year 2003, these meter-gauge version of DMUs are manufactured by RCF. The formation has 6 coaches including two driver cars and four trailer coaches, with a total carrying capacity of over 1000 passengers with a seating capacity for 424 passegers. Max. speed of a six car rake is 75km/h. The MG DEMU has a Cummins NT 855 inline 4-cylinder engine developing about 400hp, with a BHEL traction alternator. These trailer coaches of meter-gauge diesel multiple units. These cars have six doors - two on each ends & two at the middle. There are no provision for lavatories. Total capacity of 84 persons. Type - DEMU/TC.
