BG ICF AC First Class (Type - II) --- These constitute the highest class of travel in Indian Railways. These vestibuled, high profile coaches with extra-cushioned seats/berths & floor carpets are made for express train services, offering air-conditioned accommodation in four berths (2 up & 2 down) & two berths (honeymoon cabins) lockable compartments better known as coupe or cabins for overnight journeys with a total seat capacity of 18 divided among six cabins (three 4-berth cabins & three 2-berth cabins). On board facilities include welcoming passengers with flowers, supply of linen blankets along with attendant services. Shower/toilet at either end of the carriage adding to the privilege. Majestic upholestry, curtains on windows, folding tables, dedicated fans & reading lamps, mobile charging points are key features. It is a true manifestation of class & prestige with fare at par with airlines. Pantry car service is also different from what is offered in AC 3-Tier & AC 2-Tier.
