BG Hybrid-LHB Second Class --- These are self-generating, non-vestibuled, Hybrid-LHB, second sitting coaches for express train services. These are actually failed experimental prototype coaches indigenously built by RCF, Kapurthala. It is unique way of cost-cutting upto 40 percent which involves mounting of the LHB shell on improved ICF bogies by including a Yaw dampner for improved riding quality. But due to this, the max. speed of such Hybrid coaches has been restricted to 130 Kmph. As a result the riding quality is inferior or rather to say horrible unlike the original LHB coaches with FIAT bogies. It has got normal 8 wheeler arrangement. Total six exits, two in middle & two at each ends. Type - LGS.
