While proceeding towards Prinsep Ghat station on the right side one can locate the famous Gwalior Monument just before the Judge's Ghat. Built around 1850, this memorial was erected in the memory of British Officers and other ranks who perished in Maharajpur and Punniar, during the British expedition against the Maharajah of Gwalior.
