This 2.5 km stretch of elevated viaduct from Princepghat to Majerhat for Circular Railway was constructed by Tantia Construction. It was commissioned in the year 2001. With this extension, Circular Railway covers the periphery of entire Kolkata and thus helping thousands of commuters both from northern & southern suburbs of Kolkata.
