Kolkata Tram - 292 --- A Rajabazar depot Burn Standard tram was invading the jam packed Gallif Street from Esplanade through Route # 8 on a Sunday. Framed by Roy on 9th December 2012.
Usually on every Sundays there used to be a local market of plants/orchids, aquarium fishes & accessories, variety of birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats & dogs, near Hatibagan at Bidhan Sarani. These types of oneday only markets are called as 'Haat' in Bengali and are very common throughout Bengal. This particular market was once popularly known as 'Hatibagan Haat'. But due to increasing number of crowd which led to traffic congestion it was then moved from Hatibagan to Galiff Street in late 90s. But the tradition continuing till date every Sunday from 6 am to 2 pm.
