This wooden coach was manufactured by Metropolitan Amalgamated Railway Carriage & Wagon, Hadley, UK in 1906. This composite third-class cum guard/luggage van coach has a seating capacity of 41 in three rows with a balcony at one end. The passenger compartments are fitted with sunshades on the passenger side. This is one of the early examples of high capacity coach on a light railway - narrow-gauge system. It is a wooden bodied coach with steel underframe & bogies with secondary suspension of laminated springs only.
