This cute narrow-gauge tank locomotive was built in the year 1900 by WG Bagnall and Co. Ltd. Stafford, England. This E class locomotive having 2-4-2 wheel arrangement is oldest of the steam locomotives displayed in this museum. Wood was used as the fuel instead of coal in this locomotive. It was commissioned for the narrow gauge section of Khushalgarh-Kohat-Thal Railway which was a military frontier line. The loco was subsequently transferred to NWR. It was operated at Timber Depot in Marala and was later transferred to Dhilwan Creosoting plant before finally rested at Mysore Rail Museum.
