HR Ghum Museum is one of the three museums of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways. The other two DHR museums are located at Kurseong and Sukna. The Ghum Museum was established in the year 2000 and opened to the public to showcase its heritage. The entry to the museum premises is right opposite to the Ghum platform. At the entrance, there is an open space with a small garden on which there are some outdoor exhibits like at the right is Baby Sivok, the oldest toy train engine of DHR that started its operation in 1881. A DHR coach is also attached with it. On the left there is DHR NG wagon & a NG water Tanker. From the other end of the garden, there is a staircase that leads to the museum building which is located above the Ghum station platform. This wooden building houses rare and old artifacts of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railways. You can also see several items & many rare photographs of DHR. The museum is open between 10am to 1:30pm and again from 2pm until 4pm. Entry fee is ₹ 20/-
