The first page of a new chapter for Kolkata Metro!!! The first fully CBTC(Communication based Train Control) compatible rake for North-South Line 1 of Kolkata Metro, numbered MR-415, poses inside Noapara carshed. The rake has minor exterior modifications to make space for the CBTC instruments and equipments. The propulsion is supplied by Medha Servo Drives Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad and assembled by Integral Coach Factory,Chennai.
