
RD-688 --- Built in the year 1929 by Nasmyth Wilson & Co, Patricroft, Manchester, England this magnificant narrow-gauge locomotive was used by Bengal Nagpur Railway (BNR) on Raipur-Dhamtari narrow-gauge section. Thus it was classified as RD class. With a wheel configuration 2-6-2 it also used to have a 8-wheel tender which is rare among NG locos. Presently resting at National Railway Museum, New Delhi.
