CC-676 --- This 4-6-2 steam locomotive was built by North British Loco Co. Glasgow, UK in the year 1907. Imported in the year 1914 by Bengal-Nagpur Railway, this beautiful loco was commissioned in the year 1935 to serve the 2 ft 6 inch ng section between Nagpur-Chindwara-Nainpur to haul both passenger & goods train. In the year 1967, it was transferred to Adra division to serve the sixty-eight kilometres long Ranchi and Lohardaga section where it worked until 1987. Then this loco continued its journey by working at Bankura-Damodar Valley section. Finally this loco was put to rest on 8th April 1995 after nearly 88 years of service. It is now plinthed outside Ranchi station and christened as RL Queen. Photographed by Subhadyouti Bose.
