50 Years of EMU Service by SER --- It was on 1st of May 1968, South-eastern railway started EMU service for the first time. The first EMU rake ran between Howrah & Panskura marking the dawn of a new ERA in SER. So to commemorate the occasion, SER ran a special EMU service to & fro between Howrah & Panskura junction on 1st May 2018 starting from Howrah at 15.30 hrs. It was also the first passeger trial for the fourth MEDHA EMU rake of SER. On behalf of TrainTrackers Roy was present to cover the event @ Howrah.
